"Wasting your time, one sentence at a time."

What is the Studio?

Well, visitor, welcome to my lair.  You probably clicked on "The Studio" after wondering what it was.  Well, this, to be more precise, is the Assembly Studio, for those who own TI graphing calculators.  Here, I intend to pass on to you, the reader, how to program in z80 (that's the processor that the TI-83 series uses) assembly.  Perhaps later, I will add a section on how to program in TI BASIC.  Do you think you are ready?  Then proceed to Lesson One.  Returning students, jump to whatever lesson you left off at.

In addition to just teaching you, I will use this as a base for all of my own programming projects.

I'd like to thank Sean McLaughlin for writing "Learn TI-83 Plus Assembly in 28 Days", which taught me how to program assembly, and I'll probably be refrencing you to it sometimes because I'm too lazy to make some of the resources myself.  If my work confuses you at any point, try the related topics on there, too.  I don't own that, either.  See its legal info here.

Come to think of it, I accept no responsibility for damage to your calculator (or computer) resulting from these tutorials.  If your calc crashes, try going here for ways to recover.

Setting up all of the software on your computer.

The 86

There's not much to learn here, especially if you already know 83+ asm.  I've compiled some useful reference material, though.
